Works as advertised. Cools my Lance 9.5' Cabover in just a few minutes. Runs easily off of my Yamaha EF2400i generator without a wimper. In fact, I plugged a heater in and ran it on low at same time (900watts). Quiet outside, a bit noisy on the inside from sheer volume of air movement, however, I think they all are about the same. The ceiling unit says specially designed to fit snug with convex ceilings -- my ceiling is flat, and there are 3/16" gaps on either side.

I would like to compare with the Carrier, but went with this model for the lower current draw. It seems to validate my effort doing the homework on electrical draw. I think a 3K generator could run 2 of these things.

My unit arrived damaged - the packaging did not hold the unit in place, consequently the mounting platform was bent, and the rubber mounts for the compressor/condensor were broken. I was faced with the time and hassel of a return or pound it back into form and accept it. I will see if I can get some new rubber mounts for the compressor, courtesy of the seller - more to follow...Jethro
